Available only to those dining inside, you can celebrate our golden anniversary with us by enjoying a generous discount on our amazing appetizers.
Enjoy popping edamame into your mouth or the salty sweetness of a kaiso salad. Hot pan-fried gyoza are always a hit, and so are harumaki (fried spring rolls). Seafood lovers should try the tempura shrimp, shrimp kazen, or tuna tataki. There’s no beating the mouthwatering taste of chicken kushi katsu either.
Savor half off these treats with a seat at our action-packed teppanyaki tables while our grill masters whip up savory tastes served with a memorable experience.
50th Anniversary Specialty Sushi Rolls
Sakura Sushi brings delight in every bite with four limited-edition sushi rolls. Each one was thoughtfully crafted with inspiration from both our 50th anniversary and traditional Japanese culture.
The Golden Years Roll is an uramaki roll signifying our golden anniversary. This “meaty” roll packs a lot of flavor. From the balanced core where the heat of spicy tuna stays under control thanks to cream cheese, to the decadent exterior where tempura bits lend texture to the creaminess of avocado and salmon. Scallions and black sesame seeds add a pop of flavor and color. Part of the secret is in the spicy mayo and eel sauce that further underscores the balance between delicate heat and sweetness. This specialty roll is lightly torched and adorned with shimmery, edible gold flakes.
The Red Dragon 24 Roll gets its namesake from 2024: the year of the dragon — the same year our golden anniversary falls on. This roll is made with fried soft-shell crab, avocado, and cream cheese and is neatly rolled in sushi rice and nori seaweed. We decorate it with sesame seeds, spicy tuna, eel sauce, spicy mayo, and scallions.
The Unagi Nobori Roll represents Rosen Hotels & Resorts’ rise to the top. The name is Japanese for “surging eel.” Tender crab, salmon, and avocado are rolled in sushi rice and nori seaweed. Spicy tuna and scallions top this hearty roll that’s then drizzled in eel sauce and spicy mayo.
The Sakura Jubilee Roll is one as special as our celebration and is perfect for those who prefer cooked sushi. This roll is stuffed with grilled salmon, cucumber, and cream cheese. Then it’s dressed in sesame seeds, scallions, and kanikama. The sauce topping this specialty roll is a trifecta of spicy mayo, eel sauce, and yummy sauce.
If you stop by Shogun for a tasty teppanyaki dinner, be sure to ask for a free sample — one piece — from any of our 50th anniversary sushi rolls.
Why We’re Celebrating
Our 50th anniversary is a monumental occasion. You only turn 50 once, and for a “little company” with big dreams, this anniversary is a big deal.

At Shogun Japanese Steakhouse, we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with delicious discounts for the people who keep us better than the rest. Enjoy each of these limited-edition deals all 2024 long through June 24, 2025.
